Installation [06/2017 - 09/2019]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL SEAT BELT RETRACTOR COVER 
    1. Install the seat belt retractor cover as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
  2. INSPECT REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY 

    See step  1

  3. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made) 
    1. Engage the guide and temporarily install the rear center seat outer belt assembly with the 2 bolts.

    2. Fully tighten the bolt (A), and then the bolt (B) to install the rear center seat outer belt assembly.

      Bolt (A) 

      Torque: 12.5 N*m (127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf) 

      Bolt (B) 

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Check that the ELR locks.
      NOTE:

      This check should be performed with the rear center seat outer belt assembly installed to the vehicle.

      1. With the rear center seat outer belt assembly installed to the vehicle, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.
  4. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for TMMK Made) 
    1. When installing a new rear center seat outer belt assembly:
      1. Install the rear seat inner belt assembly RH.

        See step  2

    2. Engage the guide and temporarily install the rear center seat outer belt assembly with the 2 bolts.

    3. Fully tighten the bolt (A) and then the bolt (B) to install the rear center seat outer belt assembly.

      Bolt (A) 

      Torque: 12.5 N*m (127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf) 

      Bolt (B) 

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

    4. Check that the ELR locks.
      NOTE:

      This check should be performed with the rear center seat outer belt assembly installed to the vehicle.

      1. With the rear center seat outer belt assembly installed to the vehicle, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.
  5. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    See step  5

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER 

    See step  6

  7. INSTALL CENTER STOP LIGHT SET 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [03/2017 - ]

  8. CONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 

    See step  8

  9. CONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [06/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [08/2018 - 09/2019]

  11. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  12. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  13. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  14. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  16. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  17. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    For TMC Made:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

    For TMMK Made:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  18. CONNECT REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    For TMC Made:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  19. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type) 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [06/2017 - ]

  20. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    For A25A-FKS:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [03/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [08/2018 - ]

    For 2GR-FKS:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  21. PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK 

    Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [03/2017 - ]

  22. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT 

    Refer to OPERATION CHECK [06/2017 - 09/2019]
