Reassembly [09/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the front seat cushion panel sub-assembly to the front seat adjuster assembly with the 4 screws.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 8 hooks to install the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly.

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE RH (w/ Seat Heater System) 
    1. Engage the claw and clamp to install the front seat wire RH.

      HINT: 

      Engage the claw first.

  4. INSTALL SEAT TRACK UPPER RAIL COVER LH 
    1. Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat adjuster assembly to the foremost position.
    2. Engage the 2 claws to install the seat track upper rail cover LH as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
  5. INSTALL SEAT TRACK UPPER RAIL COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL LH SEAT SEAT TRACK UPPER RAIL COVER (for Driver Side) 
    1. Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat adjuster assembly to the rearmost position.
    2. Engage the 2 claws to install the LH seat seat track upper rail cover as shown in the illustration.

  7. INSTALL RH SEAT SEAT TRACK UPPER RAIL COVER (for Front Passenger Seat) 

    HINT: 

    • Use the same procedure as for the LH seat seat track upper rail cover (for Driver Side).
    • Use the same procedure for both RH seat seat track upper rail covers.
  8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side) 
    1. Engage the hook.

    2. Engage the claw and guide.
    3. Install the front seat lower cushion shield LH with the screw.
  9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Driver Side) 
    1. Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Engage the hook to install the front seat lower cushion shield RH.
  10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Engage the claw and guide.

    2. Engage the hook.
    3. Install the front seat lower cushion shield LH with the screw.

  11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Front Passenger Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the front seat lower cushion shield LH (for Driver Side).

  12. INSTALL LH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER 
    1. Engage the 2 guides to install the LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover.

  13. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seat Heater System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  14. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER 

    HINT: 

    When installing a separate type front seat cushion cover, refer to Precaution in order to prevent wrinkles from forming.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [09/2019 - ] 

    1. Using hog ring pliers, install 13 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

      Fastener
      NOTE:
      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.
      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.
    2. Engage the 2 fasteners.
    3. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 2 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

      NOTE:
      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.
      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.
  15. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD 
    1. Engage each hook to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Connect the connector.

        *A w/ Wire Harness Clamp - -
      2. Engage the 4 clamps to install the front seat cushion heater assembly RH wire harness.
      3. Engage a new wire harness clamp. (w/ Wire Harness Clamp)
  16. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SEATBACK HOOK 
    1. Engage the 2 clamps to install the 2 front No. 2 seatback hooks to the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  17. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 8 hooks to install the front seatback spring sub-assembly to the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  18. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  19. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seat Heater System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  20. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER 

    HINT: 

    When installing a separate type front seatback cover, refer to Precaution in order to prevent wrinkles from forming.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [09/2019 - ] 

    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad with 10 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

      NOTE:
      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.
      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seatback cover.
  21. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD 
    1. Install the separate type front seatback cover with pad.
  22. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT 
    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    2. Pass each wire harness through the hole of the separate type front seatback cover.

    3. Engage the hook.
    4. Close the 2 fasteners.

  23. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the separate type front seatback assembly to the separate type front seat cushion assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 45 N*m (459 kgf*cm, 33 ft.*lbf) 

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Connect the connector.

      2. Engage the clamp to install the front seatback heater assembly RH wire harness.
    3. Engage the claw and 3 clamps to install the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

      HINT: 

      Engage the claw first.

    4. Engage the hook.

  29. CONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER 
    1. Connect the 2 rubber bands of the separate type front seatback cover.

  30. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

  31. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)
