Removal [03/2017 - 06/2017]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [03/2017 - 06/2017]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR ARMREST COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR UPPER ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Driver Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR UPPER ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Front Passenger Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  7. REMOVE FRONT ARMREST ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  8. REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP WITH FRONT DOOR VENT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  11. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  12. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19

  13. REMOVE FRONT DOOR BELT MOULDING ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply protective tape around the front door belt moulding assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Protective Tape
    2. Disengage the 5 claws as shown in the illustration.

      *a Claw
      Rotate in this Direction
    3. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.

      Push in this Direction
    4. Slightly twist and hold the front door belt moulding assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration.

      Twist in this Direction (1) Slide in this Direction (2)
      NOTE:

      If the front door belt moulding assembly is pulled upwards, the claw may break and fall inside the door panel.

    5. Slide the front door belt moulding assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration to disengage the claw and remove the front door belt moulding assembly.
