Installation [11/2018 - 02/2019]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:

    Before adjusting the transmission control cable assembly, check that the shift lever position sensor and shift lever are in N.

    1. Pass the transmission control cable assembly into the vehicle and install the transmission control cable assembly to the vehicle body with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 6.0 N.m (61 kgf/cm, 53 in.lbf) 

    2. Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the vehicle body with the nut.

      Torque: 6.0 N.m (61 kgf/cm, 53 in.lbf)

      *a Align the hole on the transmission control cable bracket with the protrusion of the vehicle body.
      NOTE:

      Do not deform the transmission control cable bracket.

    3. Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the inverter with converter assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 12 N.m (122 kgf/cm, 9 ft.lbf) 

    4. Turn the control shaft lever clockwise until it stops, then turn it counterclockwise 2 notches.

    5. Engage the 2 claws to install a new clip to the transmission control cable assembly.
    6. Using a screwdriver, engage the 4 claws and install the transmission control cable assembly to the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.

      *2 No. 1 Transmission Control Cable Bracket
      *a Claw (A)
      *b Claw (B)
      NOTE:
      • Make sure that the claws (A) of the clip are securely engaged in the grooves of the bracket.
      • Make sure that the transmission control cable assembly is securely installed inside of the claws (B) of the clip.
    7. Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the control shaft lever with the nut.

      Torque: 12 N.m (122 kgf/cm, 9 ft.lbf) 

  2. CONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [11/2018 - 12/2021]

  5. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [11/2018 - 02/2019]

  6. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 65

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 66

  8. INSTALL FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 68

  9. INSTALL FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 67

  10. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  11. INSTALL INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  12. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 58

  13. INSPECT SHIFT LEVER POSITION 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  14. ADJUST SHIFT LEVER POSITION
