On-Vehicle Inspection [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. INSPECT REAR ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR 
    1. Disengage the clamp to separate the vacuum hose.

    2. Disconnect the vacuum hose.
    3. Using a vacuum pump, apply vacuum of 80 kPa (600 mmHg, 23.6 in.Hg) and wait for 1 minute.

    4. Check that there is no change in the needle movement of the vacuum pump gauge.

      OK

      Vacuum pressure holds.

    5. Check that there is no fluid leakage caused by a break in the diaphragm.
    6. Connect the vacuum hose.
    7. Engage the clamp to install the vacuum hose.
  3. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY
