Removal [12/2015 - 08/2016]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for AWD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  4. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for 2WD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  5. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for AWD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2) 
    1. Using SST, remove the No. 2 oxygen sensor (for bank 2 sensor 2) from the front exhaust pipe assembly.

      • SST: 09224-00010 
      NOTE:

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace No. 2 oxygen sensor (for bank 2 sensor 2).

  7. REMOVE OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2) 
    1. for 2WD:
      1. Using SST, remove the oxygen sensor (for bank 1 sensor 2) from the front exhaust pipe assembly.

        *B for AWD
        • SST: 09224-00010 
        NOTE:

        If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace oxygen sensor (for bank 1 sensor 2).

    2. for AWD:
      1. Using SST, remove the oxygen sensor (for bank 1 sensor 2) from the No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
        • SST: 09224-00010 
        NOTE:

        If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace oxygen sensor (for bank 1 sensor 2).
