Adjustment [12/2015 - 11/2017]: Procedure

  1. ADJUST HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Loosen the 4 hood side hinge bolts.

    2. Move the hood to adjust the clearance to within the standard range (See step  1).
    3. Tighten the 4 hood side hinge bolts after the adjustment.

      Torque: 13 N*m (133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf) 

    4. Adjust the height of the hood front end by turning the cushion rubber (See step  1).

      HINT: 

      The cushion rubber can be raised and lowered by turning it.

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  3. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. REMOVE HOOD LOCK NUT CAP 

    See step  5

  5. ADJUST HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Loosen the 3 bolts.

    2. Adjust the hood lock position so that the striker can enter it smoothly.

    3. Tighten the 3 bolts after the adjustment.

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

  6. INSTALL HOOD LOCK NUT CAP 

    See step  9

  7. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  8. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  9. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
