Removal [12/2015 - 11/2017]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2016 - 11/2017] ).

  2. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH 

    (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 )

  3. SEPARATE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH 
  4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH 

    (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 )

  5. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 34 )

  6. REMOVE ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH 
    1. Disconnect each connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.

      HINT: 

      If the vehicle is equipped with a wire harness clamp, disengage the clamp.

    3. Remove the 2 nuts and bolt and ECU integration box with each ECU.
  7. REMOVE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the certification ECU.
