Removal [08/2015 - 08/2018]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the bolt, clamp and gasket.
    2. Disconnect the tailpipe assembly from the exhaust pipe support.
  2. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 4 bolts.
    2. Disconnect the center exhaust pipe assembly from the 3 exhaust pipe supports.
    3. Remove the center exhaust pipe assembly from the front exhaust pipe assembly and front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
    4. Remove the 2 gaskets from the front exhaust pipe assembly and front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
  3. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
    2. Disconnect the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly from the exhaust pipe support.
    3. Remove the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly from the front No. 2 exhaust pipe sub-assembly assembly.
    4. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.
    5. Remove the 3 nuts, front No. 2 exhaust pipe sub-assembly and 2 gaskets from the exhaust manifold LH.

  6. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.
    2. Remove the 3 nuts, front exhaust pipe and gasket from the exhaust manifold RH.

  7. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 1) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  8. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 1) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  9. REMOVE MONOLITHIC CONVERTER PROTECTOR (for Bank 1)

    1. Remove the 4 bolts and 4 nuts.
    2. Remove the 2 monolithic converter protectors.
    3. Remove the 2 LH converter protector stays and 2 No. 2 converter protector stays.
  10. REMOVE NO. 1 MONOLITHIC CONVERTER PROTECTOR (for Bank 1)

    1. Remove the 4 bolts and 4 nuts.
    2. Remove the 2 No. 1 monolithic converter protectors.
    3. Remove the 2 No. 2 converter protector stay and 2 No. 3 converter protector stay.
  11. REMOVE MONOLITHIC CONVERTER PROTECTOR (for Bank 2)

    1. Remove the 4 bolts and 4 nuts.
    2. Remove the 2 monolithic converter protectors.
    3. Remove the 2 LH converter protector stays and 2 No. 2 converter protector stays.
  12. REMOVE NO. 1 MONOLITHIC CONVERTER PROTECTOR (for Bank 2)

    1. Remove the 4 bolts and 4 nuts.
    2. Remove the 2 No. 1 monolithic converter protectors.
    3. Remove the 2 No. 2 converter protector stays and 2 No. 3 converter protector stays.
