Removal [08/2015 - 08/2018]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH 
    1. Remove the 6 clips and fender apron seal.
  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL REAR RH 
    1. Remove the 5 clips and fender apron seal.
  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH 
    1. Remove the 6 clips and fender apron seal.
  5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL REAR LH 
    1. Remove the 5 clips and fender apron seal.
  6. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  7. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT HEAT INSULATOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  8. REMOVE FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  9. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 bolts from the center exhaust pipe.
    2. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts from the front No. 2 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
    3. Disconnect the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly and from exhaust pipe support.
    4. Remove the 2 gaskets.
    5. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.
    6. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
    7. Remove the 3 nuts, No. 2 exhaust pipe sub-assembly and gasket.

  10. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.
    2. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector and 2 clamps.
    3. Remove the 2 bolts from the center exhaust pipe.

    4. Remove the 3 nuts, front exhaust pipe and 2 gaskets.
  11. REMOVE FRONT NO. 4 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR

    1. Remove the 4 nuts and front No. 4 floor heat insulator.
  12. REMOVE FRONT NO. 3 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR

    1. Remove the 4 nuts and front No. 3 floor heat insulator.
  13. REMOVE NO. 2 STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Put matchmarks on the No. 2 steering intermediate shaft sub-assembly and steering intermediate shaft.

    2. Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 2 steering intermediate shaft sub-assembly from the steering intermediate shaft.
    3. Put matchmarks on the No. 2 steering intermediate shaft sub-assembly and the power steering gear.

    4. Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 2 steering intermediate shaft sub-assembly from the power steering gear.
  14. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  15. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 10 nuts, exhaust manifold sub-assembly LH and 2 gaskets.

  16. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  17. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Remove the 10 nuts, exhaust manifold sub-assembly RH and 2 gaskets.
