Removal [08/2015 - 08/2018]: Procedure

- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
See step 2
- REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY
- Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the air cleaner from the air cleaner hose.

- Loosen the 2 bolts and remove the air cleaner with the grommet.
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose.

- Disconnect the vacuum hose.
- Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner hose.
- REMOVE INLET RADIATOR HOSE

- DISCONNECT OUTLET RADIATOR HOSE

- REMOVE FAN SHROUD
See step 7
- DISCONNECT WATER BY-PASS PIPE HOSE

- DISCONNECT NO. 3 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE

- DISCONNECT NO. 2 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE

- SEPARATE AIR PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
See step 6
- DISCONNECT NO. 5 WATER BY-PASS HOSE
See step 8
- REMOVE NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE
- Remove the No. 1 water by-pass hose from the water by-pass joint and water inlet housing.

- REMOVE INLET WATER HOUSING
- Remove the 3 bolts and water inlet housing and disconnect the No. 3 water by-pass hose from the water inlet housing.

- Remove the gasket from the water pump.
- REMOVE WATER PUMP PULLEY
- Using a screwdriver or equivalent with its tip wrapped in protective tape, hold the water pump pulley.

- Remove the 4 bolts and water pump pulley.
- REMOVE ENGINE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 8 bolts, engine water pump and the gasket.
