Removal [08/2015 - 08/2018]: Procedure

REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
See step 2
REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY

Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the air cleaner from the air cleaner hose.

Loosen the 2 bolts and remove the air cleaner with the grommet.

REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY

Disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose.

Disconnect the vacuum hose.
Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner hose.

REMOVE INLET RADIATOR HOSE

DISCONNECT OUTLET RADIATOR HOSE

REMOVE FAN SHROUD

DISCONNECT WATER BY-PASS PIPE HOSE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7
DISCONNECT NO. 3 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE

DISCONNECT NO. 2 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE

SEPARATE AIR PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

DISCONNECT NO. 5 WATER BY-PASS HOSE
See step 8

REMOVE NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

Remove the No. 1 water by-pass hose from the water by-pass joint and water inlet housing.

REMOVE INLET WATER HOUSING

Remove the 3 bolts and water inlet housing and disconnect the No. 3 water by-pass hose from the water inlet housing.

Remove the gasket from the water pump.

REMOVE WATER PUMP PULLEY

Using a screwdriver or equivalent with its tip wrapped in protective tape, hold the water pump pulley.

*b	Hold
*c	Turn

Remove the 4 bolts and water pump pulley.

REMOVE ENGINE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY

Remove the 8 bolts, engine water pump and the gasket.
