Removal [08/2015 - 08/2018]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN ENGINE OIL 

    See step  1

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE FAN & GENERATOR V BELT 
    1. Remove the fan and generator V belt (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - 08/2018] ).
  4. REMOVE OIL FILTER ELEMENT 
    1. Remove the oil filter element (Refer to REPLACEMENT [08/2015 - 08/2018] ).
  5. REMOVE OIL PRESSURE SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY

  6. SEPARATE COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE WATER BY-PASS PIPE HOSE 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts.
    2. Disconnect the 4 hoses and remove the water by-pass pipe.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 OIL COOLER BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and bracket.

    2. Disconnect the ground wire from the cylinder block.
  9. REMOVE OIL FILTER BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and filter bracket.

    2. Remove the 2 O-rings.

  10. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 5 nuts and oil cooler from the oil filter bracket.

    2. Remove the 2 O-rings.

  11. REMOVE OIL COOLER SPACER 
    1. Remove the bolt and oil cooler spacer from the oil filter bracket.

    2. Remove the gasket.
