Removal [05/2019 - 07/2020]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  7. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  8. REMOVE DECK TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  9. REMOVE REAR DECK TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  10. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  11. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  12. DISCONNECT REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  13. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  14. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  15. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  16. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  17. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH 
    1. Disconnect the rear door opening trim weatherstrip RH.
  18. REMOVE REAR UNDER SIDE COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31

  19. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32

  20. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33

  21. REMOVE NO. 1 TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 41

  22. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER HOOK A 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35

  23. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  24. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36

  25. REMOVE NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32

  26. REMOVE NO. 2 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33

  27. DISCONNECT AC CHARGER INLET CABLE (w/o CABLE EV CHARGER LOCK ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disengage the 3 clamps.

    2. Remove the bolt.

    3. Remove the 4 nuts and disconnect the AC charger inlet cable.
  28. DISCONNECT AC CHARGER INLET CABLE WITH CABLE EV CHARGER LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ CABLE EV CHARGER LOCK ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 3 clamps.
    3. Remove the bolt.

    4. Remove the 4 nuts and disconnect the AC charger inlet cable with cable EV charger lock assembly.
  29. REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID LOCK BRACKET 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Disengage the 4 clamps.
    3. Remove the 4 bolts.

    4. Disengage the guide.
    5. Disengage the fuel tank drain plug shield to remove the fuel filler opening lid lock bracket.

  30. REMOVE CHARGING PORT OPENING LID LOCK RETAINER 

    See step  30

  31. REMOVE CHARGE LID LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

  32. REMOVE EV CHARGER LID SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  33. REMOVE CONNECTOR COVER 
    1. Disengage the clamp to remove the connector cover.

  34. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE OPENING LID SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and 4 guides to remove the battery service opening lid sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  35. REMOVE BATTERY CHARGER CONNECTOR OPENING LID SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply protective tape around the battery charger connector opening lid sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Remove the 3 nuts.

    3. Disengage the 5 guides and remove the battery charger connector opening lid sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
