Removal [12/2013 - ]: Procedure

- REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR SEAL LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE SEAL RH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28
- REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - 11/2016] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2016 - ]
- REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
- Move the shift lever to N.
- Separate the end of the transmission control cable assembly from the transmission floor shift assembly.
- Rotate the nut counterclockwise approximately 180° and, while holding the nut in that position, separate the transmission control cable assembly from the transmission floor shift assembly.
*a Counterclockwise - Disengage the wire harness clamp.
- Remove the nut from the transmission control shaft lever.
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly with the clip from the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the clip from the transmission control cable assembly.
- Turn back the dash panel insulator.
- Remove the 3 bolts and pull out the transmission control cable assembly from the cabin.
