Removal [12/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  3. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH 

    See step  4

  4. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

    2. Remove the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the 4 exhaust pipe supports.

    3. Remove the gasket from the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).
  6. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Rear Catalyst) 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Front Catalyst).

    2. Disconnect the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the exhaust pipe support.
    3. Remove the gasket from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Front Catalyst).
  7. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Front Catalyst) 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 compression springs and front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Front Catalyst) from the exhaust manifold.

    2. Remove the gasket from the exhaust manifold.
