Installation [11/2015 - ]: Procedure
- INSTALL REAR LOWER COIL SPRING INSULATOR LH
- Install the rear lower coil spring insulator LH onto the rear axle beam assembly.
- INSTALL REAR LOWER COIL SPRING INSULATOR RH
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.
- INSTALL REAR UPPER COIL SPRING INSULATOR LH
- INSTALL REAR UPPER COIL SPRING INSULATOR RH
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.
- INSTALL REAR COIL SPRING LH NOTE:
- When replacing the rear coil spring LH or rear coil spring RH with a new one, make sure to check the part number and install it to the correct position.
- When reusing the rear coil spring LH or rear coil spring RH, make sure to check its identification mark and install it to the correct position.
- Support the spring seat of the rear axle beam assembly using 2 jacks and 2 wooden blocks.
- Remove the 2 bolts while holding the 2 nuts and separate the rear axle beam assembly from the rear shock absorber assemblies LH and RH.NOTE:
Since stopper nuts are used, turn the bolts.
- Slowly lower the rear axle beam assembly using 2 jacks and 2 wooden blocks.
- Install the rear coil spring LH onto the rear axle beam assembly.
Paint Mark NOTE:The paint mark of the rear coil spring LH should be towards the underside and rear side of the vehicle.
- Slowly jack up the rear axle beam assembly using 2 jacks and 2 wooden blocks, and temporarily install the rear axle beam assembly and rear coil spring LH with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
- INSTALL REAR COIL SPRING RH
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.
- INSTALL REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE LH
- Install the rear flexible hose LH onto the rear axle beam assembly with a new clip.NOTE:
Install the clip as far as it will go.
- Using a union nut wrench, install the rear flexible hose LH to the brake tube while holding the rear flexible hose LH with a wrench.
*a Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length Specified Tightening Torque
Torque: 15 N*m (155 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf)
NOTE:- Do not bend or damage the brake line.
- Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake line from the connecting points.
HINT:
- Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length for the torque wrench (Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2015 - 06/2017] , or refer to PRECAUTION [06/2017 - ] ).
- When using a union nut wrench (fulcrum length of 22 mm (0.866 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 250 mm (9.84 in.)):
14 N*m (142 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)
- Install the rear flexible hose LH onto the rear axle beam assembly with a new clip.
- INSTALL REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE RH
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.
- INSTALL SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE LH
- Install the skid control sensor wire LH to the rear axle beam assembly with the nut.
Torque: 7.5 N*m (76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf)
- Install the skid control sensor wire LH to the rear axle beam assembly with the nut.
- INSTALL SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE RH
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.
- CONNECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
- CONNECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE RH
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.
- INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 103 N*m (1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)
- STABILIZE SUSPENSION

- FULLY TIGHTEN REAR AXLE BEAM ASSEMBLY

- FULLY TIGHTEN REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH

- FULLY TIGHTEN REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
(Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 )
- BLEED BRAKE LINE

- INSPECT REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT
(Refer to INSPECTION [11/2015 - 06/2017] , or refer to INSPECTION [06/2017 - ] )
- CHECK SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL
(Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE [11/2015 - ] )
