Disassembly [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE BACK WINDOW UPPER TRIM PANEL 
    1. Disengage the 4 claws and 4 clips, and remove the back window upper trim panel.

  2. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM COVER LH 
    1. Disengage the 2 clips, 2 claws and guide, and remove the back door trim cover LH.

  3. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK COVER (for Glass Hatch Type) 
    1. Disengage the 3 claws and 2 guides, and remove the back door lock cover.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER 
    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 clips and 2 guides, and remove No. 2 back door service hole cover.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER 
    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 clips and 2 guides, and remove No. 1 back door service hole cover.

  7. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 6 clips as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 6 clips as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the 4 clips and 2 guides, and remove the back door trim panel assembly.

  8. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK COVER (for Fixed Glass Type) 
    1. Disengage the 3 claws and 2 guides, and remove the back door lock cover.

  9. REMOVE DOOR PULL HANDLE 
    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the door pull handle as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  10. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Back Door) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  11. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Back Door) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  12. REMOVE BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH (w/ Power Back Door)

  13. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (w/ Back Door Speaker)

  14. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (w/ Back Door Speaker)

  15. REMOVE POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Power Back Door)

  16. REMOVE POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Power Back Door) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  17. REMOVE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU (w/ Power Back Door) 

    See step  8

  18. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOWER STOPPER LH 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and back door lower stopper LH.

  19. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOWER STOPPER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  20. REMOVE REAR WIPER SHAFT COVER (for Glass Hatch Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  21. REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM HEAD CAP

  22. REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY

  23. REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR GROMMET (for Fixed Glass Type)

  24. REMOVE REAR WIPER LINK CAP (for Glass Hatch Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  25. REMOVE REAR WIPER LINK PIVOT WITH WASHER PACKING (for Glass Hatch Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  26. REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Glass Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  27. REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Glass Hatch Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  28. REMOVE BACK DOOR GLASS GUIDE BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Glass Type) 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Disengage the 2 clamps to disconnect the wire harness.
    3. Remove the 4 bolts.

    4. Disengage the clip to remove the back door glass guide bracket sub-assembly.
  29. REMOVE BACK WINDOW LOCK ASSEMBLY (for Glass Hatch Type)

  30. REMOVE REAR SIDE SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  31. REMOVE REAR SIDE SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  32. REMOVE REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  37. REMOVE NO. 2 BACK DOOR WEATHERSTRIP 
    1. Remove the No. 2 back door weatherstrip.

    2. Remove any remaining No. 2 back door weatherstrip sealant from the vehicle body using cleaner.
  38. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  41. REMOVE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear View Monitor System)

  42. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

  43. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  44. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOWER STOPPER CUSHION 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the 2 back door lower stopper cushions.

  45. REMOVE CUSHION (for Glass Hatch Type) 
    1. Disengage the 4 claws to remove the 4 cushions.

  46. REMOVE DOOR DUST PROOF SEAL 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and guide to remove the door dust proof seal.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
