Installation [06/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the starter assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 46 N*m (469 kgf*cm, 34 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the engine wire to the terminal 30 with the nut.

      Torque: 9.8 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf) 

    3. Close the terminal cap.
    4. Connect the starter assembly connector.
  2. INSTALL BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 40 [06/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 40 [10/2020 - ]

  3. INSTALL ECM 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 44 [06/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 44 [10/2020 - ]

  5. INSTALL INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 45 [06/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 45 [10/2020 - ]

  6. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 46 [06/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 46 [10/2020 - ]

  7. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [06/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2020 - ]

  8. INSTALL BATTERY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [06/2017 - ]
