Installation [02/2014 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL PURGE VALVE (PURGE VSV) 
    1. Install the purge valve (purge VSV) to the cylinder head sub-assembly with the bolt.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the fuel vapor feed hose assembly to the purge valve (purge VSV) and slide the clip to secure it.

      HINT: 

      Engage the clip within the area shown in the illustration.

      *1 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose Assembly
      *2 No. 1 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
      *a 2 to 7 mm (0.0787 to 0.276 in.)
      *b 120°
      *c RH
      *d Paint Mark
    3. Connect the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose to the purge valve (purge VSV).
    4. Engage the wire harness clamp.
    5. Connect the purge valve (purge VSV) connector.
  2. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 68 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 67

  3. INSTALL INLET NO. 2 AIR CLEANER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  4. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE SEAL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR SEAL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
