Removal [10/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER SUPPORT 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] )

  2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  3. REMOVE FLOOR CARPET BRACKET RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 37

  4. REMOVE AIRBAG ECU ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  6. REMOVE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  7. LOOSEN ADJUSTING NUT 
    1. Remove the lock nut and loosen the adjusting nut.

      *1 Lock Nut
      *2 Adjusting Nut
      NOTE:

      If the lock nut is removed or loosened, replace the lock nut with a new one.

  8. SEPARATE NO. 4 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Separate the No. 4 parking brake cable assembly from the parking brake control pedal assembly as shown in the illustration.

  9. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE CONTROL PEDAL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Turn back the floor carpet.
    2. Remove the clip from the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly.

    3. Remove the bolt and 2 nuts, and separate the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly.
    4. Disconnect the parking brake switch assembly connector.

    5. Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and parking brake control pedal assembly.
