Removal [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing (Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2014 - 10/2015] or PRECAUTION [10/2015 - ] ).

    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2014 - ] ).

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY 
  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY 

    See step  5

  6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY 

    See step  7

  7. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY WITH BOX

  8. REMOVE REAR SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  9. REMOVE REAR SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH

  10. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LH (for LH Side)

  11. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LH (for Center)

  12. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE RH

  13. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for LH Side)

  14. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for RH Side)

  15. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER

  16. REMOVE SEAT HEATER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 6 tag pins and seat heater assembly from the bench type rear seatback cover.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for both the RH side and LH side.
