Removal (To 12/2010): Removal
NOTE:
Before removing the tire pressure warning ECU, read the registered transmitter IDs of all wheels and write them down to use for re-registration of transmitter IDs. Refer to REGISTRATION .
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL WARNING:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTE:When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
- REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 21
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 23
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY NO. 2 . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 29
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER RH . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 30
- REMOVE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU
- Disconnect the connector from the tire pressure warning ECU.
- Remove the screw and the tire pressure warning ECU.
