Front Stabilizer Bar: Installation
- INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING
- Install the 2 No. 1 front stabilizer bar bushings to the front stabilizer bar as shown below.NOTE: Install the No. 1 front stabilizer bar bushings so that the cutout faces the rear of the vehicle.
- Install the 2 No. 1 front stabilizer bar bushings to the front stabilizer bar as shown below.
- INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET LH
- Install the No. 2 front stabilizer bracket LH to the No. 1 front stabilizer bar bushing.
- INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET RH
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.
- INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR
- Install the front stabilizer bar by inserting it from the right side of the vehicle.
- INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET LH
- Install the No. 1 front stabilizer bracket LH to the front frame assembly with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 29 N*m (296 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf)
- Install the No. 1 front stabilizer bracket LH to the front frame assembly with the 2 bolts.
- INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET RH
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.
- INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH
- Install the front stabilizer link assembly LH with the nut.
Torque: 74 N*m (755 kgf*cm, 55 ft.*lbf)
HINT:
If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud bolt.
- Install the front stabilizer link assembly LH with the nut.
- INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.
- INSTALL ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE
HINT:
Install engine assembly with transaxle (See INSTALLATION ).
- INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
HINT:
Inspect and adjust front wheel adjustment (See ADJUSTMENT ).
