Front Lower Suspension Arm: Installation

  1. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM 
    1. Install the front lower arm bushing stopper to the front lower suspension arm.
    2. Install the front lower suspension arm to the front frame assembly with the 3 bolts and nut, but do not tighten them yet.
    3. Tighten the 3 bolts in numerical order shown below.

      Torque: Bolt 1, 2 

      200 N*m (2039 kgf*cm, 147 ft.*lbf) 

      Bolt 3 

      206 N*m (2100 kgf*cm, 152 ft*lbf) 

      HINT:

      Start installing the bolts from the front side of the vehicle.

  2. CONNECT FRONT FRAME ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  3. REMOVE ENGINE HANGERS  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL POWER STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR WITH FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY 
  6. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET LH  (See INSTALLATION  )
  7. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET RH 

    HINT:

    Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

  8. INSTALL ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE 

    HINT:

    Install engine assembly with transaxle (See INSTALLATION ).
