FENDER LINER (for Front Side): Removal

  1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER  (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MOLDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH  (See REMOVAL  )
  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MOLDING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  5. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD (for LH Side) 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and front wheel opening extension pad.

  6. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD (for RH Side) 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH 
    1. Remove the screw.
    2. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

    3. Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 screws.
    4. Remove the 2 grommets.

      HINT:

      The grommets need to be replaced with new ones because they will break when they are removed.

    5. Remove the 5 clips, 8 screws and front fender liner LH.

  8. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH 
    1. Remove the screw.
    2. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

    3. Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 screws.

    4. Remove the 2 grommets.

      HINT:

      The grommets need to be replaced with new ones because they will break when they are removed.

    5. Remove the 5 clips, 7 screws and front fender liner RH.
