(Door / Hatch) (Except Hybrid): Hood: Reassembly

  1. CONNECT WASHER HOSE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the washer hose assembly.

  2. ADJUST WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See ADJUSTMENT )
  3. INSTALL WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL HOOD INSULATOR 
    1. Install the hood insulator with the 8 clips.

  5. INSTALL HOOD TO RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL 
    1. Install the hood to radiator support seal with the 8 clips.

  6. INSTALL RADIATOR SEAL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Clean the vehicle body surface.
      1. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
    2. Remove the release paper from the radiator seal sub-assembly.

      HINT:

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

    3. Install a new radiator seal sub-assembly with the 2 clips.
    4. Install the 6 clips.

  7. INSTALL FRONT HOOD PROTECTOR 
    1. Engage the 4 claws and install the front hood protector.

  8. INSPECT FRONT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
