On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. INSPECT FRONT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. With the engine running, check the positions that the washer fluid hits the windshield.
      AREA DIMENSION SPECIFICATION

      Area Dimension
      A 353 mm (13.88 in)
      B 143 mm (5.70 in)
      C 193 mm (7.61 in.)

      OK: Washer fluid hits the windshield in the areas shown below. 

      HINT:

      If the result is not as specified, replace the washer nozzle.

  2. INSPECT REAR WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. With the engine running, check the position that the washer fluid hits the windshield.
      AREA DIMENSION SPECIFICATION

      Area Dimension
      A 265 mm (10.44 in.)
      B 197 mm (7.77 in)
      C 0.4 mm (0.01 in)
      D 109 mm (4.27 in.)
      E 252 mm (9.92 in.)
      F 178 mm (7.00 in.)
      G 25 mm (0.98 in.)
      H 139 mm (5.46 in)

      OK: Washer fluid hits the windshield in the areas shown below.
