Inspection Procedure

- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Check if the CAN communication system DTC is output (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
).

A: Go to next step
- Check if the CAN communication system DTC is output (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
).
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (ABS WARNING LIGHT)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the tester on.
- Select the following menu items: Body / Combination Meter / Active Test.
ACTIVE TEST: Combination Meter
COMBINATION METER ACTIVE TEST REFERENCETester Display Test Part Diagnostic Notes Indicat. Lamp ABS Turns ABS warning light ON and OFF Observe combination meter - Check that the ABS warning light turns on and off in the combination meter using the Techstream.
OK:
The ABS warning light turns ON and OFF in accordance with the Techstream operation.
