CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSEMBLY (for Sedan): Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER CENTER (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle) (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER FRONT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER REAR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER KNOB
1. Remove the cigarette lighter knob.

REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER COVER
1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw, then turn the cigarette lighter socket counterclockwise and push the cigarette lighter socket half way out.

2. Align the protrusion of the cigarette lighter socket with the cutout of the cigarette lighter indicator lens and then push out the cigarette lighter socket.

3. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the cigarette lighter cover.

REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER INDICATOR LENS
1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the cigarette lighter indicator lens.
