Occupant Classification Ecu: Removal

CAUTION: Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing.
NOTE: Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)  REMOVAL 
  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Hatchback)  REMOVAL 
  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Sedan)  REMOVAL 
  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Hatchback)  REMOVAL 
  6. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU 
    1. Disconnect the connectors from the occupant classification ECU.
    2. Using a screwdriver, remove the occupant classification ECU.
