FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for Sedan): Removal

CAUTION:

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
- Wait for at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag from working.
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER CENTER (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- SEPARATE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH (See REMOVAL )
- SEPARATE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
- Remove the wire harness from the 2 claws of the instrument panel.
- Disengage the 10 hooks and remove the instrument panel passenger airbag.
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE ASSEMBLY
- Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, release the locking button.
- Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, disconnect the 2 airbag connectors and remove the instrument panel wire.
