Headlight Dimmer Switch: Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Wait for at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag from working.
POSITION FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
REMOVE STEERING PAD (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY (for Hatchback) REMOVAL
REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY (for Sedan) REMOVAL
REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Hatchback) REMOVAL
REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Sedan) REMOVAL
REMOVE SPIRAL CABLE (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE WIPER SWITCH
1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
2. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the wiper switch.
  NOTE: Do not press the claw too hard, as it may be damaged.

REMOVE HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Remove the headlight dimmer switch, as shown in the illustration.

3. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the headlight dimmer switch.
