Spiral Cable: Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
REMOVE STEERING PAD
1. Using "Torx" socket wrench T30, loosen the 2 bolts completely.
2. Pull the steering pad toward you.

3. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, release the locking button.
4. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, disconnect the 2 airbag connectors.
5. Detach the horn connector.
REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER
1. Remove the 3 screws.
2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the steering column cover (lower).
3. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the steering column cover (upper).

REMOVE SPIRAL CABLE
1. Detach the horn connector.
2. Slide the slider and detach the airbag connector.

3. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the spiral cable.
