How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

• Use these procedures to troubleshoot the key reminder warning system.
• The Techstream should be used in steps  3 and  5.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

   Standard voltage: 

   11 to 14 V 

   HINT:

   If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

3. INSPECT COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
   1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.
