Section 177 (Charging System (2GR-FE)): Generator: Removal

REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the radiator (see REMOVAL ).
REMOVE FRONT WHEEL RH
REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR RH (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER REINFORCEMENT RH (See appropriate step(s) under REMOVAL2 )
REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR TANK (See appropriate step(s) under REMOVAL )
REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT (See appropriate step(s) under REMOVAL )
REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the 2 wire harness clamps.

2. Remove the terminal cap.
3. Remove the nut and disconnect the generator wire from terminal B.
4. Disconnect the generator connector from the generator.

5. Remove the bolt from the cylinder block.

6. Remove the 2 bolts and generator.
