Combination Meter: Installation

  1. INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using the tilt and telescopic functions, fully lower and extend the steering wheel.
    2. Connect the 2 connectors as shown in the illustration.
    3. Secure the wire harness to the combination meter assembly.

    4. Install the combination meter assembly as shown in the illustration.

    5. Install the 4 screws.

  2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL 
    1. Engage the 4 claws and the guide.
    2. Install the instrument cluster finish panel with the 2 clips.

  3. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Smart Key System)  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/ Smart Key System)  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER 
    1. Engage the claw and install the upper steering column cover.

    2. Engage the 2 claws.
    3. Install the lower steering column cover with the 2 screws.

      Torque: 2.0 N*m (20 kgf*cm, 18 in.*lbf)

  7. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LH 
    1. Install the air hose and connect the connector.
    2. Engage the claw and the 9 clips.
    3. Connect the hood lock control cable assembly.
    4. Install the lower instrument panel finish panel LH with the screw and bolt.

  8. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
