Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly With PRETENSIONER: Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag from deploying (See AIRBAG SYSTEM ).
REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE

REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER
1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the lap belt outer anchor cover.

REMOVE SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP
1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the seat belt anchor cover cap.

  HINT:
  
  Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY
1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
2. Remove the bolt and floor end of the front seat outer belt assembly.
3. Remove the bolt and shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly.
4. Using a screwdriver, pull the locking tab outward as shown in the left box in the illustration to release the lock, and disconnect the pretensioner connector.
  HINT:
  
  Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
5. Disconnect the tension reducer connector shown by the black arrow in the middle of the illustration.

6. Remove the 2 bolts and front seat outer belt assembly.
