Brake Stroke Simulator Cylinder: Installation

INSTALL BRAKE STROKE SIMULATOR CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Install the 2 stud bolts to the brake stroke simulator cylinder.
  Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)
2. Install the brake stroke simulator cylinder to the bracket with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 6.0 N*m (61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf)
3. Install the connector clamp of the brake stroke simulator cylinder to the bracket.

4. Install the brake stroke simulator cylinder with bracket to the body with the 2 nuts and 2 bolts.
  Torque: 8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf)

5. Using SST, connect the 2 brake tubes to the brake stroke simulator cylinder.
  SST 09023-00101
  
  Torque: 15 N*m (155 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf)
6. Connect the connector.
INSTALL OUTER FRONT COWL TOP PANEL SUBASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY
1. Install the windshield wiper motor and link (see INSTALLATION ).

  HINT:
  
  Refer to the procedures from the installation of the windshield wiper motor and link assembly up until the installation of the front wiper arm LH/RH.
FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID (See BRAKE PEDAL )
BLEED AIR FROM MASTER CYLINDER/STROKE SIMULATOR (See BLEEDING )
CHECK FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE
CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR
CHECK AND CLEAR DTC
1. Check and clear the DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
PERFORM SYSTEM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform the brake system initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
CHECK OPERATION (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
