Heater Water Pump: Inspection

    NOTE: It is not necessary to drain out all the coolant.
  1. Drain Engine Coolant From Radiator. 
  2. Remove Converter And Inverter Assembly.  See CONVERTER & INVERTER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL .
  3. Remove Heater Water Pump. 
    1. Disconnect the connector and wire harness clamp.
    2. Disconnect the water hoses from water pump.
    3. Remove the bolt and refrigerant line bracket.

    4. NOTE: At the time of installation, push the water hose onto the water pump pipe as far as water pump unit and install the hose clamp.

    5. Remove the 3 bolts and heater water pump.

      Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)  .

  4. Inspect Heater Water Pump.  See WATER PUMP CIRCUIT .
  5. Install Heater Water Pump. 
  6. Install Converter And Inverter Assembly.  See INSTALLATION OF CONVERTER & INVERTER .
  7. Fill Engine Coolant.
