Roof Trim: Removal

CAUTION:

Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to  AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION 

  1. Adjust the passenger's seat position.
    1. Remove the headrest.
    2. Move the passenger's seat to the front-most position, and move the backrest to the front-most position.
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
  3. Remove the driver's seat. Ref. to SEATS>FRONT SEAT>REMOVAL
  4. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly and the backrest assembly. Ref. to SEATS>REAR SEAT>REMOVAL
  5. Remove the cover side sill front Rr and the trim panel assembly B pillar LWR. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>LOWER INNER TRIM>REMOVAL 
  6. Remove the trim panel assembly A pillar and the trim panel assembly B pillar UPR. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>UPPER INNER TRIM>REMOVAL 
  7. Remove the trim panel assembly C pillar LWR and the trim panel assembly C pillar. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>REAR QUARTER TRIM>REMOVAL 
  8. Remove the console box assembly. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>REMOVAL 
  9. Remove the cover center side. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CENTER CONSOLE>REMOVAL 
  10. Remove the trim panel rear door LH. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>DOOR TRIM>REMOVAL>REAR DOOR 
  11. Remove the light assembly map. Ref. to LIGHTING SYSTEM>SPOT MAP LIGHT>REMOVAL
  12. Remove the cover EyeSight and disconnect the stereo camera connector. (Models with EyeSight) Ref. to EYESIGHT>STEREO CAMERA>REMOVAL
  13. Disconnect the lens hood connector. (Models with EyeSight) Ref. to EYESIGHT>LENS HOOD>REMOVAL
  14. Disconnect the mirror assembly inner rearview HBA connector. (Model with automatic anti-glare mirror) Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>REARVIEW MIRROR>REMOVAL>AUTOMATIC ANTI-GLARE MIRROR
  15. Remove the sun visor assembly and hook sun visor. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>SUN VISOR>REMOVAL 
  16. Remove all assist grips. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>ASSIST GRIP>REMOVAL 
  17. Remove the trim panel roof assembly.
    1. Remove the harness clips of the cord assembly antenna and the cord assembly roof, and disconnect the connectors.
    2. Remove the garnish sunroof. (Model with sunroof)
    3. Release the clips.
    4. Remove the weather strip body side flange from the front/rear and left/right doors, and remove the trim panel roof assembly.

    5. Take out the trim panel roof assembly from the rear door opening on the driver's side to outside.

  18. Remove each part as required.
    • Light assembly roof
    • Cord assembly antenna
    • Cord assembly roof
