Assist Grip: Removal

  1. Pull both sides of the cap assist grip (a) using a flat tip screwdriver or similar tool wrapped with a protection tape.

  2. Pinch and remove the steel clip using long-nose pliers wrapped with protection tape.

  3. Pull the assist grip toward yourself (toward the vehicle center) to remove.
