Console Box: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
    NOTE:

    For models with power seat, move the front seat all the way forward before disconnecting the ground terminal from the battery sensor. 

  2. Release the clips and claws, and then remove the boot assembly parking brake. (MT model)

  3. Remove the shift knob. (MT model) Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>MT GEAR SHIFT LEVER>REMOVAL
  4. Release the clips and remove the tray center LWR and the shift boot. (MT model)

  5. Remove the grip. (CVT model) Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT LEVER>REMOVAL
  6. Remove the cover assembly front.
    1. Release the clips.

    2. Disconnect the connector, and remove the cover assembly front.
  7. Remove the console box assembly.
    1. Remove the cap console and bolts.
    2. Remove the screws and release the clip.
    3. Disconnect the connector, and remove the console box assembly.
