Evaporator Sensor: Removal

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Refer to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
  1. Using the refrigerant recovery system, discharge refrigerant. Refer to HVAC SYSTEM (HEATER, VENTILATOR AND A/C)>REFRIGERANT RECOVERY PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
  2. Disconnect the ground cable from battery and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Refer to NOTE>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE: For model with battery sensor, disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor.
  3. Remove the evaporator assembly - cooling. Refer to HVAC SYSTEM (HEATER, VENTILATOR AND A/C)>EVAPORATOR>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the thermostat - cooling.
