Power Cable Assembly

WARNING: The hybrid system includes a high voltage circuit. Mishandling could cause accidents such as electric shock or leak. Refer to PRECAUTION/WARNING>WARNING (HYBRID SYSTEM) .

Install the power cable assembly.
WARNING: Be sure to wear insulated gloves and use insulated tools.
CAUTION:
- Do not apply excessive force to the power cable assembly.
- Because there is the risk of damaging the threads, be sure to work by hand when connecting the terminals.
- First partially tighten all of the terminal bolts before fully tightening them.
- When installing the power cable assembly, be careful not to scratch the terminals, connector housing, or inverter with converter assembly.
- Replace the power cable assembly clip and cover - power connector with new parts.
- Be careful so that foreign matter, water drops, or other substance does not enter the opening or connector seal after the terminal is disconnected.
Tightening torque:

Refer to HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>POWER CABLE .
Install the transmission assembly.
CAUTION:
- A helper is required to perform this work.
- Raise the transmission jack a little at a time and be careful not to contact and damage any surrounding parts.
Tightening torque:

Refer to "COMPONENT" of "General Description".
- Radio ground: Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TH2A)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>AIR BREATHER HOSE & TRANSMISSION COVER .
- Pitching stopper and transmission rear crossmember: Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TH2A)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>TRANSMISSION MOUNTING .
Install the protector - inverter.
Tightening torque:

18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)
Install the crossmember support - rear LH. Refer to FRONT SUSPENSION>CROSSMEMBER SUPPORT>INSTALLATION .
Install the propeller shaft. Refer to DRIVE SHAFT SYSTEM>PROPELLER SHAFT>INSTALLATION .
Install the rear exhaust pipe. Refer to EXHAUST (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>REAR EXHAUST PIPE>INSTALLATION .
Install the under cover - front. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT UNDER COVER>INSTALLATION .
Install the floor under protector. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FLOOR UNDER PROTECTOR>INSTALLATION .
Install the fuel tank protector and the cover of inverter with converter assembly. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (HH4DO (HEV))>FUEL TANK PROTECTOR>INSTALLATION .
Lower the vehicle.
Install the pitching stopper. Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 IMPREZA)>TRANSMISSION MOUNTING SYSTEM>INSTALLATION>PITCHING STOPPER .
Install the transmission radio ground terminal. Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 IMPREZA)>AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>INSTALLATION .
Install the air intake boot. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR INTAKE BOOT>INSTALLATION .
Install the service disconnect plug. Refer to HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE>SERVICE PLUG>INSTALLATION .
Connect the battery ground terminal. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
