DTC P2450: EVAP System Switching Valve Performance/Stuck Open: Notes

1. - 

DTC detecting condition: 

Detected when two consecutive driving cycles with fault occur.

Trouble symptom: 

NOTE: After the faulty parts are repaired or replaced, perform the final check in Basic Diagnostic Procedure. Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DO (HEV))>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .

  1. CHECK Electric Vent Solenoid Valve  .

    Check Electric Vent Solenoid Valve. Ref. to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (H4DO (HEV))>ELECTRIC VENT SOLENOID VALVE ASSEMBLY>INSPECTION>CHECK ELECTRIC VENT SOLENOID VALVE AREA .

    Is the check result OK?

    Yes  : Go to  2.

    No  : Replace Electric Vent Solenoid Valve ASSEMBLY. Ref. to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (H4DO (HEV))>ELECTRIC VENT SOLENOID VALVE ASSEMBLY .

  2. CHECK MECHANICAL FAULTS  .

    Check the evaporative emission control system.

    NOTE: Check the following items.

    Is the check result OK?

    Yes  : Repair the poor contact of ECM connector.

    No  : Repair or replace faulty parts.
