Check Mechanical Relief Valve

  1. Check the mechanical relief valves for deformation, cracks or other damages.
  2. Connect the Mighty Vac to the electric vent solenoid valve on the fuel tank side.

  3. Using the Mighty Vac, generate the positive pressure. Check that the Mighty Vac gauge needle rises at the pressure [20 - 27 kPa (0.20 - 0.28 kgf/cm2 , 2.90 - 3.91 psi)] then stops rising further.
  4. Using the Mighty Vac, generate the vacuum pressure. Check that the Mighty Vac gauge needle drops at the pressure [-8 --15 kPa (-0.08 - -0.15 kgf/cm2 , -1.16 - -2.17 psi)], then stops dropping further.
