DTC P1C90-1C: Drive Motor "A" Temperature Sensor Circuit "B" Range/Performance: Notes

Outline of diagnosis:

With soaked for a certain period of time or more, the sensor is compared with other sensors and a difference is found only for Motor temperature sensor 2

(2 trip detection logic)

Trouble symptom:

Normal driving

CHECK DTC .
Read the DTC of [Engine] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DO (HEV))>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

Is DTC P2610 displayed?

Yes : Perform the diagnosis of DTC P2610. Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DO (HEV))>DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)>DTC P2610 ECM/PCM ENGINE OFF TIMER PERFORMANCE .

No : Go to 2.
CHECK CONNECTION CONDITION OF CONNECTOR (Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly CONNECTOR) .
Check the connecting condition of connector (B605) in Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly and check the relevant terminals for contact pressure, deformation and intrusion of water or foreign matter. Ref. to HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE>HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE .

Is there looseness at the connector connection, or any poor contact, deformation or intrusion of water or foreign matters at the relevant terminals?

Yes : Connect the connector securely. Or repair the poor contact of connector.

No : Replace Transmission assembly. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TH2A)>TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY .
