Outline of diagnosis:
While the CID in HV battery is READY ON for operation, the voltage before boosting is stuck outside the battery voltage range, or the cell voltage decrease information from Battery ECU assembly is received with the cumulative value of variation amount in the voltage before boosting for a predetermined period of time large
(1 trip detection logic)
Trouble symptom:
- Reduced output power
- Engine not stopped
Or,
- Hybrid system stopped
- Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to P-HEV HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
- Never turn to READY ON, because turning to READY ON before the repair is completed may cause fault.

Read the DTC of [P-HEV High Voltage Battery] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to P-HEV HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

Yes :
- Go to 2.
- Perform the diagnosis for the simultaneously displayed DTCs.

Yes :
- Go to 3.
- Perform the diagnosis for the simultaneously displayed DTCs.NOTE: If more than one DTC is simultaneously displayed, perform the diagnosis in the order described in the above.
- Perform the diagnosis for the simultaneously displayed DTCs.NOTE: If more than one DTC is simultaneously displayed, perform the diagnosis in the order described in the above.

- Replace Battery ECU assembly. Ref. to HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE>BATTERY CONTROL MODULE .
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [P-HEV Hybrid Powertrain Control]. Ref. to COMMON (DIAG)>CLEAR MEMORY .
- Turn to IG OFF, and wait for two minutes or more.
- Turn to IG ON, and wait for 30 seconds or more.NOTE: Never turn to READY ON, because turning to READY ON before the repair is completed may cause fault.
- Read the DTC of [P-HEV High Voltage Battery] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to P-HEV HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Are any DTCs displayed?
Yes : Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs.
No : There was something wrong with Battery ECU assembly.
Finish the diagnosis.
