Inverter Front Water Pipe

  1. Install the bracket and install the clamp (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 gf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  2. Connect the inverter water pump outlet hose to the quick connector.

  3. When the bracket was replaced
    1. Install the bracket and install the clip (A).

      Tightening torque: 

      7.5 N.m (0.8 gf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

    2. Install the air cleaner case (front) and the air cleaner element. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR CLEANER CASE>INSTALLATION .
  4. Connect the inverter radiator inlet hose (A), inverter water pump outlet hose (B), inverter center water pipe outlet hose (C) and inverter center water pipe inlet hose (D) to the inverter front water pipe.

  5. Set the inverter front water pipe together with the inverter radiator inlet hose, inverter water pump outlet hose, inverter center water pipe inlet hose and inverter center water pipe outlet hose.
  6. Install the bolt securing the inverter front water pipe.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 gf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  7. Install the clip (C), and connect the connector (A) and connector (B).

  8. Install the nut to secure the inverter front water pipe to the bracket.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 gf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  9. Install the air intake case (rear). Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR CLEANER CASE>INSTALLATION .
  10. Install the air intake boot. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR INTAKE BOOT>INSTALLATION .
  11. Connect the inverter center water pipe outlet hose (B) and inverter center water pipe inlet hose (C) to the inverter center water pipe.
  12. Install the inverter center water pipe outlet hose (B) and inverter center water pipe inlet hose (C) to the clamp (A).

  13. Install the crossmember support - rear RH. Ref. to FRONT SUSPENSION>CROSSMEMBER SUPPORT>INSTALLATION .
  14. Connect the inverter radiator inlet hose to the radiator.

  15. Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  16. Fill engine coolant. (Inverter assembly side) Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>FILLING OF ENGINE COOLANT>INVERTER ASSEMBLY SIDE .
