Low-Pressure Hose

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION:
  • Replace the O-rings with new parts, and then apply compressor oil to install completely.
  • If the hose and pipe has been replaced, add an appropriate amount of compressor oil to the compressor. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>COMPRESSOR OIL>ADJUSTMENT .
  • When connecting hoses, do not apply an excessive force to them. After installing, check that no torsion or excessive tension applied to the hoses.
  1. Install the hose - pressure suction.

    Tightening torque: 

    Compressor: Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>COMPRESSOR .

    Accumulator: Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>ACCUMULATOR .

  2. Install the hose - pressure suction discharge. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>HOSE AND PIPE>INSTALLATION>HIGH-PRESSURE HOSE .
  3. Install the collector cover. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>COLLECTOR COVER>INSTALLATION .
  4. Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  5. Charge refrigerant. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>REFRIGERANT CHARGING PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
